MEET THE NW WORKING DOGS CREW

As the hosts of the Northwest Working Dogs Expo, we are pleased to introduce our crew to you. We are:

VIRGINIA DUNN
Virginia is the founder of Bella Rosa Cane Corsos, and our team leader. She is a breeder of champion Cane Corsos. She is also a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, ATTS Tester, Certified K9 Pro Sports Judge, the director of K9 Pro Sports for the NW Region, and President of the NW for the S.A.C.C.I. (Society in America for the Cane Corso Italiano). Virginia is a strong advocate of natural rearing, and teaches dog owners about raw feeding and cooking for their dogs. She is also committed to helping special needs children through the use of dogs and horses. Virginia spent many years in the rescue and rehab of pitbulls. Her short-term goal is to fight against breed-specific legislation by CGCing many pitbulls in 2008. Long term, Virginia hopes to develop a program to help survivors of domestic violence by providing them with trained personal protection dogs.

RICK COLDWELL
Rick is a breeder of South African Boerboels and the owner of CK Boerboels. Rick loves to decoy and do protection training. He is passionate about educating and encouraging people to work and train their dogs and is actively involved in K9 Pro Sports. Rick is willing to work with any breed to help them be the best they can be. To that end, Rick brings in trainers from varying disciplines, to provide a balanced learning experience to dog owners.

BRADLEY LARIOS
Bradley is our conformation show handler, and our equipment fabricator. At 14, Bradley has shown several of our Cane Corsos and helped to achieve their championship titles. Bradley also owns Brad's Big Bully Dog Leads, and makes beautiful leather dog leashes, from which he donates part of the proceeds to programs that benefit autistic children. Brad is also our video technical advisor! Bradley wants autistic kids to know they can do anything they set their minds to.

DENISE MULLENIX
Denise Mullenix, CPDT has been working professionally with dogs for over 10 years. She is the owner of Behave Canine Solutions and provides obedience for our team. She started her career working for Columbia County Animal Control where she learned just how bleak the future can look for dogs with behavioral issues or breed bias'. She went on to intern at Oregon Coast K-9 working with narcotics detection, handler protection and search and rescue K-9's.

TIMOTHY STEAGALL
Tim is a decoy and agitator. Tim has been working with dogs since he was 8 years old, when he began volunteering at the local shelter. Tim is presently an Animal Technician at the Oregon Humane Society, where he works with fearful and dog aggressive animals, and assists potential adopters in the adoption process. Tim is an avid student of dog behavior and protection training, and has studied with world-class trainers and decoys from the U.S., Denmark, Switzerland & Germany. Tim recently won the Training Division at the K9 ProSports World Championships with our Cane Corso, Trajan. Ultimately Tim intends to establish a kennel / training facility for more dominant or aggressive dogs in need of specialized rehabilitation.
