We are proud to announce the all new Working Dogs Weekend this year in Portland OR. Hosted by Bella Rosa Cane Corsos, we are extremely excited to be offering the K9 ProSports Regional Trials on Saturday! Then on Sunday, we have the ATTS. In addition, we will be holding a Conformation, Structure and Movement Clinic Friday night, as well as youth obedience, and the list goes on. We expect a number of vendors, as well as rescue groups, to join us. And we'll be having raffles throughout the weekend to benefit rescue. Don't miss your chance to win something great!!!

We have reformatted this event to address the needs of working dog owners in our region. Our intention is to provide an exciting, fun-packed and educational weekend for ALL working dogs and their owners. This event is one of a kind! There is nothing like it on the West Coast, so get it on your schedule now!

This highly educational weekend will include events you just won't find anywhere else, such as specific breed seminars, protection dog demonstrations, a unique show clinic for judges and owners of working dogs, and even AN AGITATION LINE!

AKC CGC & ATTS

Canine Good Citizen Testing will be available throughout the weekend. For those ready for the next step, the American Temperament Test Society will be holding an official TT test on Sunday. This is a comprehensive temperament examination to prove the stability and sound mind of your dog, and the TT title is recognized throughout the country.

"CONFORMATION MOVEMENT & STRUCTURE" CLINIC

This clinic will be held on Friday night. It is designed to educate judges who wish to evaluate working breeds in conformation, as well as for the owner / handler of working dog breeds who want to enter their dogs in the conformation show ring.

NCA CONFORMATION SHOW

Join us Saturday morning for a conformation show with the National Canine Association. NCA's mission is to put the fun back into showing by leveling the playing field between professional and owner handlers. Come strut your dogs stuff. Click here for more information about NCA and to register for this show.

NCA is hosting a very special BROOD BITCH COMPETITION at this show! Check out their site to learn more!

PROTECTION DOG SEMINAR & DEMONSTRATIONS

This is a rare opportunity to learn from a man who has spent his life training working dogs throughout the world, and whose clients range from victims of domestic violence, to major corporations in the US and Mexico, to the current President of the United States, George W. Bush. You definitely don't want to miss this!

K9 PROSPORTS NW REGIONAL TRIALS

We are proud to be hosting the K9 ProSports NW Regional Trials as part of the Working Dogs Expo. The trials will include competitions in the Youth, Training, Personal Protection and Patrol Dog Divisions. All breeds are eligible in this competition, and membership in K9 ProSports is NOT required to participate. CASH PRIZES will be awarded to the top dogs in the competition!

AGITATION LINE

Try your dog on the Agitation Line. Here we will have Mr. Cappel, Trainer Brian Lehfeldt and Agitator / Decoy Timothy Steagall test your dog on the line. This is a fantastic way to demonstrate flirting and agitation to your own dog, and to measure his response to it. This exercise can give you insight into where your dog is at right now and what to do next. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

MEET BREEDERS, TRAINERS AND VENDORS

Many working dog breeders will be on hand to answer your questions and speak to you about their breeds. Trainers experienced in working breeds will be available to discuss your goals and training concerns. You will also find vendors selling such hard to find items as custom leashes for big dogs, agitation collars, weight pull harnesses, bite suits and other equipment. Meet representatives for premium dog foods and take home some samples to try.

ALL BREEDS ARE WELCOME!

All responsible dog owners are welcome to join us for this unique and exciting event. Please remember that all activities and schedules are subject to change. Of course, we cannot control the weather - This event will be held RAIN OR SHINE! Space is limited for some activities, so PRE-REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
