AGENDA K9 ProSports NW Regional Trials Begins 9:00 am - Saturday is the K9 ProSports Northwest Regional Trials. Here members and non-members alike may compete their dogs in the Training, Personal Protection Dog, and Patrol Dog Divisions. Obedience, Civil Agitation, Attack On Handler and several other scenerios will be offered to test the protective abilities of your dog in real world situations. Points toward Top Dog of the Year and Cash Awards are available for K9 Pro Sports members. (Membership applications will be available at the trial.) K9PS Training Division This event is open to any person over the age of 13 years old wishing to compete and see where they and their dog stand with out having to compete in the full requirements of the PPD exercise. Competition includes on-leash obedience and a Civil Agitation Exercise. K9PS Personal Protection Dog Division This competition is open to any person over the age of 13 that wishes to compete. A Personal Protection Dog (PPD) is defined as one with the abilities to detect a possible threat and, at the handlers discretion, deter and defend its handler from the threat. K9PS Patrol Dog Division The PD Division is open to any member 13 years of age or older wishing to compete. The patrol dog is defined as one with the abilities and, at the discretion of the handler, to apprehend and control the potential threat. K9 ProSports Awards Ceremony Awards will be given for the top scoring dogs in the trial. CASH AWARDS will be given to top scoring K9 ProSports members in the PPD and PD Divisions. Come congratulate the winners in the trial! Tune-Ups With Butch Cappel Here's your chance to get some one-on-one time with Master Trainer & K9 ProSports founder Butch Cappel. Times are allocated in 20 minute time slots and are $30 dollars each. These slots will be VERY limited and are available as time permits so register early and be prepared to jump in with your dog! Sunday June 3rd CGC Testing Will Be Available Throughout The Day 8:00 am- NCA Conformation Show - Day 2 8:00 am- American Temperament Test Society- ATTS The ATTS test will begin at 8AM and continue until completed. This temperament test is open to all pure and mixed breeds. This is a 10-step test - details can be found at www.ATTS.org. Note: We have to limit this test to a maximum of 45 dogs, so PRE-REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Fila Brasileiro Temperament Test The Fila TT will begin immediately after the ATTS in completed. Note: PRE-REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! FBCA High-In-Trial The High-In-Trial Awards will follow the Fila TT. DATE & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED: The following will be held during the event weekend, however the exact day and time have not yet been set.
